Surrender

You design a path for me to follow
Well detailed upon my heart
Visible enough as crystal
But blinded by mine heart desires

Gone in the pleasure of seductive Delilah
Setting her army to strip one blind
I became useful without economic importance
Darkness my horrible companion

Brought right at the corridor of life
Neglected to dine with my piece of cake
For I have become sour bitter to taste
The bitterness of life spat me out

I cried for mercy to align to your design
Bring me out of this bowel of misery
Grace me to hearken to your instruction
So that sorrow may say me “goodbye” forever
